Dalton Electrical is a family company started by Dave Dalton in 1966 and continued by his son Bruce Dalton, who joined the team in 1991 after completing an industrial electrical apprenticeship and a NZCE. D G Dalton & Co Ltd changed to Dalton Electrical, but the strong ethics and a focus on industrial work including automation projects, machinery breakdowns and planned maintenance remained constant.
There is a definite team culture at Dalton’s, staff help and challenge each other to perform at a high level. This positive environment has helped our industrial apprentices prove themselves to be the best in New Zealand on numerous occasions, and also represent New Zealand at the London World Skills competition in 2011, in Germany in 2013, and in Abu Dhabi in 2017.
Dalton Electrical are proud members of Master Electricians NZ, and have also been recognised for their automation expertise by winning the ECANZ Excellence awards in the automation project category on two occasions, and being national finalists for the same award on 3 occasions.
We are focused on providing excellent service and maintaining customers for life.
